I love the story of how they got engaged, which makes their venue choice so perfect in this outdoor setting: “We love to run together, having run multiple half marathons and one marathon together. One of our favorite runs is through this park on the Upper West Side, called Riverside Park. There is a sculpture garden at the base of it, and it reminds me of the Olympic Sculpture Garden in Seattle. Therefore, it feels close to home. We were running on Saturday morning in November, and upon arriving to the park, Alex got down on one knee. Shortly after saying yes, we ran back to our apartment where both of our families were there to surprise us.”
