Wedding Photography Sales and Scheduling Coordinator

Position
We are currently interviewing for our Photography Coordinator for a well-established wedding photography company in the Los Angeles area. Our company currently sells over 250 weddings per year and receives on average 10-20 new leads per week. The position has a primary focus on wedding photography sales and scheduling shoots. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to engage with prospective clients to understand their wedding photography needs and sell custom-crafted photography packages through genuine, personable relational sales processes. Strong sales experience, interpersonal skills and closing skills are a must and comfort in negotiating must come innately. Candidates may come from fashion, social media, event or catering sales position, and have some previous experience with wedding coordination. We are looking for someone to complement our company who loves the wedding industry, is well-versed with the wedding social media platforms (blogs, magazines), and who enjoys event planning. You must have the ability to make initial contact prospective clients immediately (within an hour on a business day) and conduct between 2-5 sales consultations per week during the day and in the evenings. We are looking for a smart, passionate Photography Coordinator who feels a connection to us and to our clients.
Your Role
Selling wedding photography services to the leads originated through our company website. Scheduling in-person consultations for local leads as well as Skype and phone consultations for out-of-area leads. Regular follow-up with leads via phone and email utilizing the company’s established Client Management Software as a tool for follow-up. Monitor the highs and the lows within the yearly calendar and take appropriate sales actions to ensure that services are sold evenly throughout the year. This is a contractor position.
Requirements:
– 3 years in sales
– 2 years in current industry
– BA/BS
– Able to make a minimum 3-5 year commitment
– Based in Los Angeles Area
